Sunday 22nd May saw the running of the Shropshire Gundog Societies PLATINUM ANNIVERSARY 1952-2022 Any Variety Spaniel Working Test at Beslow Farm Uckington and the weather though muggy was kind throughout the day and we remained dry. The Novice Stake ran in the morning and we had a field of 16 dogs running consisting of 5 Cockers and 11 English Springers. The Open in the afternoon saw eleven dogs put through their paces.
A big thanks to the Eyton Shoot for the use of the ground, also thank you to all the club members who gave up their time to help run the day, Paul Leek and the others who put the hours in behind the scenes to organise the test. Also thanks must go to our judges Alex Hayes & Steve Brewer and of course our sponsors Skinner for all their support. The raffle raised £110 for our charity Midlands Air Ambulance.
